The Structure

24 on-chain unique frames. Each frame shows a connecting line of a different length — from none to full. All 24 are standalone 1/1s. Each is complete as a shard.

The first 12 were only claimable in person at NFT Paris 2023. Not online. Not later. You had to be there.

Proof of Presence

This shard is a quasi-POAP — a record of a moment when online friends became real ones. A group who'd only known each other through screens, suddenly in the same room, each leaving with a piece of the same thing.

The first 12 shards are spread across that group. Whatever happens to the artwork, that moment is already permanent.

The Question

If all 24 holders unanimously agree to combine, the contract merges them into a single animated on-chain artwork — permanently forging the only N. that will ever exist.

24 people. Unanimous consent. The ones who were there vs. the ones who weren't.

N. was 0xG's prior work — an infinite ephemeral edition where each token only existed until the next was minted. Y. is its closing act. The shard came first. N. may never exist.
