Concept

Every NFT stored off-chain is slowly dying. Bit Rot visualizes that rot in real time.

Each token renders as a banknote mosaic built from real NFT thumbnails. On load, the artwork makes live HTTP checks to 17 metadata URIs — tiles pointing to dead APIs visually rot. The bill degrades as the ecosystem decays.
